Euro-Atlantic Bulletin

The field of international security, peace, and stability is highly dynamic. Risks and threats evolve constantly, demanding continuous professional attention and critical analysis.

As a proactive organisation in the field of international and national security, the Euro-Atlantic Council of Slovenia prepares expert assessments of key societal and geopolitical challenges. These are published in the Euro-Atlantic Bulletin, a platform for informed commentary by its members and invited external contributors.

Each issue features a professional article that aims to:

    • highlight a specific challenge in security policy,
    • examine relevant approaches and alternatives, and
    • propose well-grounded solutions.

The Euro-Atlantic Bulletin is issued three to six times per year. Each edition includes one article and, when relevant, an editor’s comment. The primary language of publication is Slovene, with occasional contributions in English, depending on the author and intended audience. Topics of particular importance for the Slovenian public are generally published in Slovene.

The Bulletin is registered in the national bibliographic system and assigned its own ISSN number. It is primarily published in digital format, with printed editions produced occasionally.

The editor oversees topic selection, invites contributors, coordinates the publication process, and ensures appropriate dissemination. The views expressed in individual articles are solely those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the positions of the Euro-Atlantic Council of Slovenia or the editor. This editorial independence supports the Bulletin’s mission: to present a diversity of perspectives and policy options in the field of security.

All issues are published on the Euro-Atlantic Council of Slovenia’s website and distributed electronically to key stakeholders, including ministries, embassies, media representatives, and other relevant institutions.
