Between November 24 – 26, 2023, the president of the EACS’ Youth Section, dr. Brin Najžer and member of the Youth Section, Evdokija Josifoska, attended the international conference in Zagreb, organized by the Atlantic Council of Croatia – ATA Croatia, on the topic “Hybrid threats in the new European security architecture – The role of NATO“.
The event was sponsored by NATO’s Public Diplomacy Divison. The topics were focused on Croatia’s role in NATO, EU integration, the Western Balkans and its Euro-Atlantic rapprochement, the new European security architecture, political risks related to hybrid threats, NATO’s 2022 Strategic Concept and the influence of disinformation in the media on youth.
The conference was concluded with a debate between young participants on the topic of hybrid and conventional military threats.
