Protesters this week attacked premises owned by Chinese companies in protest of China’s support for the miltiary regime.

Since the begining of protests at least 200 people have died and over 2000 have been imprisoned.

UN Human Rights Office spokesperson Ravina Shamdasani expressed concern over the rising numbers of casualties and cases of tortue.
