From 18 to 25 July 2026, Katarina Ahčin represented YATA Slovenia at the 29th Portuguese Atlantic Youth Seminar (PAYS) in Lisbon, organised by YATA Portugal.
The seminar brought together young leaders, experts, and decision-makers from across the Euro-Atlantic community to discuss key security challenges, including transatlantic relations, European defence, NATO–EU cooperation, maritime security, support for Ukraine, and the evolving security environment.
Beyond the discussions, PAYS 2026 highlighted the importance of international cooperation and dialogue among young professionals, while offering a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives and build new connections.
