Welcome to a new episode of Defence Hour. This edition brings a new recording studio and a new partner. The Defence Research Centre of the Faculty of Social Sciences (ORC), in cooperation with the Euro-Atlantic Council of Slovenia, has taken over as the series’ supporting partner.
Our guest for this episode is Dr Rok Zupančič, professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, researcher, and commentator. His field research in areas affected by recent conflicts, often conducted with the research teams he leads, offers valuable insights into realities that may seem distant or are sometimes overlooked in public discourse.
While there are no simple solutions and no one can predict developments with certainty, a deeper understanding allows for clearer perception and at least a grasp of the essential dynamics shaping today’s security environment.
